Nick's changing head of hair

A sampling of the various hairstyles I've had over the years.

My first hairstyle

The standard bowl cut that typified my childhood hair

Mid-70s, the long look is in

By 10th grade in high school, I've gone to rock-star length

By graduation, I'd taken the length off, and grown a feeble mustache

After moving into my own place, I cut loose and tried a wild blonde streak.

By the mid-1980s, the Port Townsend hippie ethos had taken hold

Late 1980s - big curly hair and a moustache

Ditto, taken a little shorter as I get serious about my music career.

around 1990, I made a radical departure!

Kept the short blonde hair through the early 90s - this was my look during my animal control phase

Mid '90s - Let the blonde grow out, but kept the conservative look for work.

By the time I moved over to Seattle to work for Microsoft, I'd grown a goatee.

For the new millennium, I grew the beard back and started to let my hair grow too

Close to peak length in 2002

Summer 2003 - Yet another radical departure
, as I go bald for Locks of Love. See the Whole process here
